About the designer
Anna Coroneo is an artist and fashion designer whose work blends the relaxed Sydney beach6chic lifestyle with the fast and flirtatious energy of New York City. Using ink on paper and oil or acrylic on canvas, Anna’s abstract paintings highlight the juxtaposition of the natural world with the built environment. Her works exude a vibrant liveliness, which have a dramatic presence and are often translated into print designs for fashion and interior textiles.
Anna’s entrepreneurial spirit and creative flair drove her to start her fashion label in 2001. She began by selling her designs at the Bondi Beach markets in Sydney where buyers began stocking her clothes in boutiques throughout Australia. Now based in New York, Anna in continuing to impress prominent editors and bloggers in the art and fashion worlds. Anna has exhibited her works in solo and group shows in New York, London, and at Art Basel in Miami. She also exhibits with the Art Focus gallery in Sydney, where her works have been included at ArtSydney. Anna’s art and fashion are highly sought after and collected internationally.
